Emily Skydel is an artist working out of her private studio in Gowanus, Brooklyn. Emily uses art as a tool to connect with nature and humanity.

She grew up in the NYC suburbs, studied painting at Binghamton University, and went on to continue taking courses at the New York Studio School, Art Students League and Black Pond Studio.

When not making art, Emily works as a climate organizer.
